If you need more to do there are many hiking and mountain biking trails (Coastal Mountains Land Trust) (Georges River Land Trust) near by. We are nestled between Ragged and Bald mountains. The short hike up our very own blueberry hill is one of the best kept secrets in mid coast Maine. You can look right down between the mountains to Camden Harbor and the islands beyond. There is Winter skiing at the Camden Snow Bowl (Camden Snow Bowl) , lakes to swim in during Summer or the Ocean if you're brave enough. Camden Harbor offers many schooner rides and lobster boats too(https://camdenrockland.com/whe...). Both Camden and Rockland offer great places to eat as well(https://camdenrockland.com/whe...).
the Cabin and its surroundings
This cabin is a short walk down a wooded path. It has a full sized bed in the loft, a single pull out couch and an air mattress. The bathroom is an outhouse with a composting toilet and an outdoor shower with on demand hot water.
This cabin is situated privately in its own little forest. It is the perfect spot for a get away from the busy lives most of us lead. Whether you like to hike, bike, kayak, sail, shop, read or just sit and watch the birds and maybe some deer, it can all happen near here.
Nearby are the towns of Rockland, Camden and Belfast. There is dining, skiing, sailing, museums, shopping etc.
